This immature Double Crested
Cormorant allowed me the opportunity to photograph him. I started
upstream with the sun in the wrong position for good photography. I
continue taking pictures as I drifted downstream. As I passed the
tree that was in the river I paddled upstream behind him. You will
notice the color of a law changing as I angled for better light.
Finally he decided that I was too close and I captured him taking
off in flight, and running across the water to gain speed.
