Football and Crabs

My nephew Joe had a football game the week I was out there. I think I might house had been When we arrived at the game it was just starting. Earlier than the scheduled start time. I knew that Joe number was 99, and he was on the field. It was the starting kickoff and Joe's team was kicking. So I stopped where I was to get a few shots before I joined the family in the bleachers. I believe it was the second play of the game. When the opposing team tried to open up a whole and run through it. With one eye on Joe and the other on the game I snapped this shot of Joe tackling the carrier causing a fumble. In this shot you see Joe doing the perfect tackle with a football in the air.
With the turnover I joined my family in the bleachers. My brother-in-law John is a smiling happy glad to see ya type of guy. As I walked up the bleachers he said to me "oh Gary you just missed it Joe's tackle cause a fumble". I smile that John and said "no I did not", and showed him the picture he was thrilled.

After the halftime break the opposing team started the half with an onside kick. On the right you see Joe covering the kickoff.

After the game we returned to Kathy and John's place for a crab feast. Now that their kids are teenagers their home was more like a depot where they sleep. We were fortunate enough to have Mindy for dinner before she was off to visit a friend in the hospital.

The great Jenga competition continues these two champions compete to see who will be the master Jenga player.
