My Garden for 2002

At the end of January I was packing to meet my cousin David in Florida, I noticed that some daffodils that were protected from the wind were showing off. But of course I didn't take a picture that at that time, this is the same plant but two weeks later.
The Dirt Bug bites me not to long after Christmas. I find that the bites virus catalyst, is sunny days in late January through early March, when temperature reaches from 48º to 70ºf. Indeed it is still early, the last week of February. Being busy working the land and making plans for this year's projects. In that busyness, I walk, and I look for the turning of the season. It is so good to see the crocuses and daffodils blooming. To have forgotten things I did in previous years, to find them coming up and remembering.

Previous years garden..........

..........This year in progress.
