| While visiting my mother
in September of 2004. It was Thursday the 16th I was exploring some old
territory up near Clarksburg I was looking for the old fishing pond. There
was so much construction going on around the pond that I missed it. So I
turned around when I saw where it was a tiny piece of land surrounded by
housing construction. Change of plans heading out of Clarksville on Route
80 I saw a sign pointing the way to Lily Ponds. I followed the signs down
to Lily Ponds. As I passed by Lily Ponds the road was high above the ponds
I looked them over and saw the blossoms gleaming up at me. My destination
was the Monocacy River which runs along Lily Ponds. I stopped to fish for
a while on the Monocacy River, with the river running high the fish just
didn't care what I was offering them. When I lost a good lure to the river
I decided to head home. I crossed the river and look down at the lilies
and decided to stop. I hope that you enjoy them.
