May in Arkansas

| This is the full moon for May. There's something about full moons that excite me. Maybe it is being able to see in the shadow of Earth. Maybe I find it's so exciting because of memories of nights floating down the Potomac River with the moon lighting our way. Or camping in the Prescott National Forest and having the giant moon come up through the Ponderosa pine. The night that David and I camped out in the Everglades National Park when the moon came up through the pines of the Everglades. |
| An afternoon spring shower. This one accumulated from the sunny day. The downpour came in walls of water the kind that you watch as they pass by. |
