this week 36      6 Sep 2004

On September 8 my cousin David flew into Little Rock for a short visit. The week before David arrived our weather was cloudy and cool. But this day turned out to be a crisp bright fall day. That evening we went fishing on the Arkansas River with the change of weather is this just didn't care about anything we threw them. The next day I had some things to do in Little Rock so we spent most of the day in the city. Friday the 10th of September we went canoe fishing on the Buffalo River from Highway 65 to Gilbert. The water was a little milky but you could see the fish.
Water Resources Buffalo River at Hwy 65 gage was 4.4 River was slow but moving few drag overs.
That evenin we went home or are grabbed a few things and headed on our trip to Maryland. Somewhere in Tennessee we spent a night , and most of the next day we spent driving. One of our refresher stops was at Grahams Mill near Grahams Forge Va. the forge dates back before the Civil War.
Lake Needwood was built when I was a young teenager. The roads to the Lake were dirt, now are all paved and a very popular spot for the suburbanites.
